My Practice

My practice offers a holistic approach to bodywork rooted in Thai Massage Sacred Bodywork. I weave together elements of acupressure, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western deep tissue therapy, yoga, breathwork, and energy medicine. Guided by deep listening, this approach invites the body to reveal its own pathways to balance and restoration.

Each session is attuned to your unique constitution—meeting you where you are and supporting the release of blockages, injuries, and stored emotional or energetic patterns. Since 2009, my work has also been shaped by the teachings of Mestizo and Shipibo plant medicine lineages, whose wisdom continues to guide my approach to healing.

A TYPICAL SESSION with me

  • Done on a comfortable floor mat rather than a massage table

  • Can address long-standing injuries, repetitive strain, or emotional/energetic blockages

  • May leave you feeling energized and refreshed, or deeply calm and ready for restorative sleep

  • Involves stretching myofascial tissue, acupressure, compression, and soft tissue manipulation

  • Helps move toxins from the body (sometimes causing brief congestion)

  • Can stimulate digestion and support metabolism

  • Uses yoga-like positions and thumb pressure along the body’s energy pathways

  • Provides deep tissue release in key areas that may unlock both physical and emotional holding patterns

My Philosophy

I believe the body is our most direct doorway into essential core energy. While the mind can run in circles—and our center can feel elusive, especially in New York—the body offers an immediate way in. Opening the body’s energy and listening to its intuitive wisdom reveals the keys to health, peace of mind, and deeper connection to life.

Body, mind, and spirit are inseparably linked. By restoring the body’s energy flow, we can profoundly shift the mind and spirit. Emotional or psychological material often arises during sessions, and I see this as an integral part of the work.

I believe a practitioner must be ready to meet people wherever they are—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I have devoted my life to cultivating this kind of space, where clients can discover, release, and activate their own intuitive healing process.

My Professional Journey

For nearly two decades, I have been devoted to holding sacred space through healing arts, movement, and education. Beginning as a yoga teacher in 2008, my path expanded to include somatic therapy, energy work, and both Eastern and Western bodywork modalities. After becoming a certified Thai Massage Sacred Bodywork practitioner, I trained with Shiatsu master Ohashi and completed my LMT at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

My current practice focuses on supporting individuals engaged in psychedelic therapy, with somatic-based integration.

Beyond my private practice, I have taught massage, facilitated movement and meditation retreats inspired by my long-time 5Rhythms dance practice, led men’s work and nature-immersion programs, taught early childhood education, and co-founded The Inheritance Project—an initiative in leadership development and conflict resolution. Across all these fields, my work is unified by a commitment to creating spaces of vulnerability, healing, and transformation—rooted in attunement to body, spirit, and connection with nature.
